Fruit-Sweetened Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Pops

Fruit-Sweetened Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice PopsApparently we haven’t been making enough smoothies lately (see HERE), because when my 2-year-old asked for an ice pop today, we were completely out. So I pulled out my blender and made a special smoothie batch specifically to use for ice pop making.

I’d love to say I filled all of our ice pop molds with this chocolaty, peanut buttery goodness, but all four of us drank some of it in smoothie form too (and it was fantastic!). That said, I have 7 ice pops in the freezer, so that should hold us for at least couple of days – depending on how many kid guests we have in the meantime.

Be warned! These will disappear fast.

Here’s my Fruit-Sweetened Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Pop Recipe:

Fruit-Sweetened Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Pops

1 cup Peanut Butter
4 large Bananas
2/3 scant cup Cacao Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Water or milk (dairy or non-dairy will work)
3 handfuls Greens, Optional

Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until thoroughly homogenized.

Pour into ice pop molds.

Place in freezer until thoroughly frozen.

Serve and enjoy.

What are some of your favorite ice pop combinations?
