There’s nothing inherently difficult about being mindful or in making conscious decisions about how we interact with the people, things, and world around us, but it’s so easy to get caught up in the planning ahead or the worrying or the dreaming or whatever else may occupy our minds (or we get stuck in one of the scripts we follow in our heads) that we forget to simply be present now and to focus on who or what is right in front of us.
So today, let’s try to remember to be mindful. Let’s be present and live our lives consciously.
“Mindfulness isn’t difficult, we just need to remember to do it.”
