Thought for the Day: Lindbergh

Thought for the Day: Lindbergh

We can make any act beautiful if we set about doing it with love.  We can make any endeavor into a meditation if we set about performing it with mindfulness.  In this way, we can be conscious of the actual moment in which we are living.

Focused on the now in which we exist, we come face-to-face with the one bit of life in which we can participate at any given time.  The now is all we truly have, for the past is gone and the future is yet to come.  And if we approach it mindfully, we can be fully awake for that experience.

Today, may we approach even our most mundane tasks with love, mindfulness, and intention.  In that way, we can fill the world with warmth and splendor.  In that way, we can experience the present moments that compose our lives.  More than that, we will feel that very life, connection, experience, and love within our own hearts and minds.

“If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.” — Anne Morrow Lindbergh
