Today as I was writing I suddenly had a huge craving for chocolate. I didn’t have anything chocolate made or ready-to-eat, so I pulled ingredients out of my pantry, refrigerator, and freezer and tossed them all into the blender. What came out not only fulfilled my chocolate craving, it tasted really fantastic and was very easy to make.
This single-serving Milkshake recipe is vegan, raw, simple to prepare, and full of chocolaty goodness. It tastes indulgent, but contains no refined sugar and instead has lots of healthy ingredients. I will definitely make it again.
Here’s how I made it:
Notes
If your mixture does not get smooth enough (not all blenders are equal in their ability to do this), try soaking the nuts and dried fruit for a while before attempting to puree them. That should help you to get a smoother milkshake.

- 1 Date Roll
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 dried Figs
- 2 tablespoons Cacao Powder
