Let us travel lightly, consciously, and kindly, celebrating the everyday journey with great joy.

Let’s be grateful for what we have in our daily lives. If we celebrate what we have instead of focusing on what we do not, our lives will be merrier indeed.

The first time we ordered caterpillars with the intent of studying their metamorphosis, I was almost at the end of my second pregnancy (we used a kit like THIS). I ordered them within a day or two of moving into our new home, and they arrived about a week later. It seemed a wonderful way to celebrate the beginning of life in our new house.… Continue reading
Where do you want to be? What do you want to feel in life? Pursue that, and let the rest fall away.

I’ve seen that practice for over 13 years now, and I’ve decided to give a modified version of it a try.… Continue reading
Today may we all be fully awake and completely present in each moment of our lives.
“Mindfulness is about being fully awake in our lives. It is about perceiving the exquisite vividness of each moment. We also gain immediate access to our own powerful inner resources for insight, transformation, and healing.”

And each day is ours to begin anew. Amazing.
“I got up early and bathed in the pond; that was a religious exercise, and one of the best things which I did. They say that characters were engraven on the bathing tub of King Tching-thang to this effect: ‘Renew thyself completely each day; do it again, and again, and forever again.'”… Continue reading
